Krakow helps – Crisis Counselling Centres

On 4 May, the city of Krakow launched Crisis Counselling Centres. Local consultants within the PDK will help the three main addressees to whom the assistance of the Mayor of Krakow is addressed, as defined in the Order No 910/2020 of 16 April, i.e. entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations and residents.

Bearing in mind the current state of the epidemic in Poland and the related restrictions, in the first phase of its operation, PDKs will operate in the online formula, providing information by e-mail and telephone, and as the epidemic situation normalizes, they will obtain a physical location. The consultants will provide information on existing urban solutions aimed at entrepreneurs, NGOs and residents, will help to get an overview of available packages financed by regional European funds, and will support the use of the “Anti-Crisis Shield” provisions.

A special city service has also been created, where one can find information about the support provided by the City of Cracow, as well as about forms of regional aid and solutions at the national level.

Within the functioning of the PDK, the necessary steps will be taken to ensure that assistance is provided quickly and in the most simplified way possible, wherever the applicable legislation allows.
