Migration to Poland is a phenomenon which has only recently become the subject of deep reflection. One of the key issues of the interdisciplinary area of international population flows is the issue of adapting newcomers to Polish culture and also Polish citizens to contact with representatives of different cultures. On the other hand, the presence of representatives of other cultures forces the indigenous peoples to change their own social rules. This process is called integration and is a condition for avoiding conflicts between incoming and outgoing communities that host immigrants.
