SECONDARY AND POST-GYMNASIUM SCHOOLS

In Kraków, post-gymnasium and post-primary education is provided in general secondary schools (for young people and adults), technical schools, industry schools of the first degree and post-secondary schools. Recruitment to the first grades of self-government and some nongovernment general secondary schools for young people, technicians and industry schools of the first degree is conducted with the use of an IT system. Candidates apply electronically to the system for enrolment in the school, with the possibility to select multiple departments in all schools recruiting and then submit a paper version of the application signed by the parents or legal guardians to the school indicated in the first place. The recruitment procedure shall be carried out in accordance with the following rules
in educational regulations. During the school year, the headmaster of the school will decide on the admission to the first grade.
