Free tests for foreign seasonal workers

– I have good news for farmers legally employing foreigners. The necessary tests performed by seasonal workers coming from abroad will be paid for by the state budget – Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, informed today. 

The Minister pointed out that there are no longer any obstacles to employing foreigners in this year’s harvest. At the same time, he stressed that what is beneficial to farmers is also beneficial to us all.

– This help consequently means that all the crops are harvested, thus avoiding high fruit and vegetable prices, and this will be felt in the wallet of every consumer” said the minister and added “This is a real state, not a theoretical one.”
