Police officers together with MPK traffic inspectors started a joint action to remind passengers about the obligation to cover their mouths and noses while travelling by public transport.
It is worth noting that the checks on the possession of masks by passengers are the effect of appeals, which were sent to MPK SA. It happens that passengers do not comply with the government regulation which imposes an obligation to cover their mouths and noses when travelling by public transport. Unfortunately, reminders about this order, displayed on monitors installed in vehicles and voice messages emitted from speakers were not enough.
Only on one action day, June 22nd, at the hour of From 8 to 16, a total of 10 lines (No. 3, 8, 9, 13, 14, 19, 20, 24, 49, 50) were checked and 63 people who did not have masks were instructed.
The action is planned for the next two weeks.
